Earth Day 2026

22 April 2026

Caurum celebrates 5 years of evolution, backed by nearly 40 years of experience, investing in the future through reforestation and sustainable innovation.

Caurum, international company and leader in the chemical sector, specializing in the recovery, refining, transformation, and production of precious metals, celebrates five years of evolution inspired by nearly four decades of experience, strengthening its commitment to a sustainable and responsible development model.

Thanks to its consolidated know-how, the company stands out for its ability to enhance precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, and iridium, transforming waste into renewable resources through eco-innovative models and circular processes.

On the occasion of Earth Day, Caurum has chosen to celebrate this important milestone by supporting the Montanino Forest reforestation project, located in the hills of the Province of Pisa.

In collaboration with WOWnature, 65 new trees will be planted, symbolizing both the company’s environmental commitment and the growth of its team, which has recently reached 65 employees.

The project contributes to slope stabilization and the protection of local biodiversity, providing habitat for rare species such as the fire salamander and the crested newt, representing a concrete action toward safeguarding the Tuscan landscape.

WOWnature is an initiative by Etifor | Valuing Nature, a spin-off of the University of Padua and a certified Bcorp.

Since 2018, WOWnature has been regenerating nature through science by growing new forests and protecting existing ones.

Sustainability is a strategic pillar for Caurum, which promotes a balance between industrial development and environmental protection through targeted initiatives: the use of renewable energy sources, optimization of production processes, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Since 2023, the company has recorded an 11.67% reduction in emissions per unit of natural gas, along with a decrease in water consumption through the use of rainwater.

Confirming its commitment, Caurum obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001 environmental management certification in 2023 and has been a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) since 2021, ensuring high ethical standards and full traceability of materials, which are 100% recycled.

The circular economy approach permeates the entire company value chain.

In May 2024, this dedication was further recognized with the achievement of ESG certification by Cerved.

Through a forward-looking vision focused on future generations, Caurum continues to invest in innovation, sustainability, and responsibility, strengthening its role on the international stage.
